When Joe Biden met with wind power executives at the White House on Thursday, he mistakenly showed his cheat sheet to the cameras.
He showed the world a step-by-step guide prepared by staff that instructed him to do the most basic things: “You go into the Roosevelt room and greet the participants.”
The staff wrote the words “you” and “your” in capital letters to make notes for Biden, who regularly forgets where he is and who he’s talking to.
“You take your seat”, “You make brief comments”, “You ask a question to Liz Schuler, President of the AFL-CIO”, “You thank the participants”.
This isn’t the first time Biden has relied on staff notes to avoid embarrassment in front of the public.
