Double standards again – The governor of Montana invests in Pfizer and promotes vaccinations

The governor of Montana, who is pushing for more residents to get vaccinated, has invested nearly $800,000 in Pfizer.
In the summer, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte urged residents of the city to get vaccinated against COVID-19, which other governors admittedly did.
“There couldn’t be a more important time to get vaccinated. The vaccines have been researched, they are rigorously tested, they are safe and they work, ”Gianforte said at a press conference in Helena.
But here’s the difference: While most of the country’s governors encourage residents to get the vaccine as well, they haven’t invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in one of the three major pharmaceutical vaccine manufacturers – in this case, Pfizer.
When Gianforte was the only member of the U.S. House of Representatives in Montana in 2018, he invested nearly $798,000 in the pharmaceutical company, according to Open Secrets.
The Montana Daily Gazette adds: Gianforte traveled from city to city defending the Pfizer vaccine and strongly advised veterans and others to take it, even calling it “safe and effective.” However, this is not true. Pfizer’s injections are not only unsafe, they don’t slow down the transmission of Covid-19 according to the CDC, they just minimize symptoms.
To his credit, Gianforte has not tried to enforce a vaccine or mask mandate in his state, but the fact that he defends a product made by a company in which he has an interest is unethical, anyway.
