Latvian police have arrested the country’s main opposition leader, Aldis Gobzems, in a brutal raid during his party’s campaign and meeting with his supporters in the central Latvian city of Tukums.
He was arrested on charges of holding an undeclared meeting and failing to comply with security requirements.
Gobzems is an ardent critic of the current Prime Minister Karins and the President of Latvia Levits. He also criticized the Latvian government for unconstitutional requirements for Covid-19 vaccinations and so-called green passports.
The situation in Latvia is extremely difficult for ordinary people who do not want experimental injections. People are limited by all social life and are not allowed to any objects.
The situation of Latvian citizens is at the level of Australia, and the repression of dissidents is brutal.
