One of Florida’s largest hospital systems has canceled all mandatory vaccines

Advent Health will no longer require its 83,000 employees to be vaccinated against Covid.
The decision to suspend the mandatory vaccination mandate came after Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation prohibiting employers from enforcing vaccine mandates.
The Cleveland Clinic also announced that it had suspended its mandate, allowing unvaccinated workers to keep their jobs.

In Florida, vaccination is only voluntary. If an employer requires mandatory vaccination, he faces a fine.
Florida also has no mandatory masks, no social distance, and a relatively small vaccination population compared to other states. The infected population is at the lowest level of any other part of the United States.
