Austrian candy manufacturer producing Mozartkugeln (“Mozart Balls”) for the US market files for bankruptcy as a result of the pandemic. The company was founded in 1884. The first factory is open in 1890.
The historic company survived events of the past 131 years, but couldn’t survive the last months.
As not one or two have said in the last year, this is an epidemic of bankruptcies.
